Your going to hell!
It has been quite a while since my last post. About two weeks I think. Anyways I decided to post on the topic of hell. Have you ever been told that you will go to hell? If you havent been told that maybe you have been told instead to just go to hell. When you think of hell you probably think of a fire and torment kind of hell. A church called the potters house frequently use this hell representation in their pamhlets. But is the fire and torment hell really well real? Is it the hell all those who deny God will go to?
Fire and Torment hell Many christians groups believe in the fire and torment hell. After all isent it in the bible? You know the gnashing of teeth and the intense heat. This is the traditional hell of the western world.
Absense of God hell When I heard of this one I was a bit confused. I still am. This hell is one wear God is totally absent. All those who denied him come here. But if these are the ones who didn't believe in God anyway how is this a punishment?
Purgatory Purgatory is a catholic belief. I'm pretty sure it is a place where you go to pay off all your sins. When you have payed them all off you get to go to the place above. You can get there faster if family members pray for you. However if you committed one of the unforgivable sins your well screwed.
Reincarnation Reincarnation is a little different then the rest. It's not exactly a hell. I mean it's living new lives again and again and again. You can come back as anything a dog a horse another human anything. But unless you gain enlightenment you will be stuck in this cycle of forever being reborn. To get out you need to gain enlightenment.
There is no hell hell Jehovahs witnesses and some other religions don't even believe in a hell. They think if you arent going to heaven or living in the paradise on earth you are just dead. No after life for you.
So which "hell" do you believe in. Why do you believe in it? Have you ever even thought about the different "hells" out there?

Religion Series Hare Krishnas Part 3
Here it is finally the third part. This part im just going to have some more general info and maybe a few other things.
Im going to start with who founded this group. Well there are a few different ways that people sometimes spell this name but it's basically the same. His short name was Swami Prabhupada. This particular group was founded in 1966. However roots do trace back a bit further how far is not exactly agreed upon. Some texts that they use or respect are: The Bhagavad-Gita ,Srimad Bhagavatam,Caitanya-carit amrta.
It must be mentioned that this group will respect any religious doctrine to a certain extent.
This group is governed by a Governing Body Council of thirty people from in the movement. When the founder of the group died in 1977 there was a bit of a crisis within the organization. They at the time had no heir and no power structure. Before the leaders death he had appointed 11 gurus but the GBC was in conflict with them. Eventually the uproar died down when it was decided that the majority of the initiating of the gurus would be decided by the GBC.
This group has had it's share of controversies and leaders being jailed. Go to the website http://religiousmovements .lib.virginia.edu/nrms/iskcon.html" title="http://religiousmovements .lib.virginia.edu/nrms/iskcon.html" target="_blank"http://religiousmovements .lib... to read a bit more. Another good website that has a wealth of info on crimes reported about this group is http://www.rickross.com.reference/krishna" title="http://www.rickross.com.reference/krishna" target="_blank"http://www.rickross.com.refer...
To the credit of this group it has on occassion done it's own internal investigations into various instances of crimes however there has been quite a few lawsuits against them.
I thought I would throw in here a few famous people that were Hare Krishnas. George Harrison and John Lennon. I believe the other beatles were into it for awhile but it didn't last for them. In 1969 Harrison became a devotee and released a record of mantras from the group.
In 1973 Harrison bought a manor in somewhere called the Hertford Village of Lectchmore Heath and he gave it to the movment. There have been a few other famous people out there to have been activly involved in this group im sure.
To find more info use your friendly neighborhood google site. And click all the links I have mentioned throughout my three posts. So that's the end of this one.
